The Cetitec Universal Data Manager (UDM) is a data-focused communication solution that reduces the number of necessary firmware updates in an automotive system by decoupling the device interfaces from each other. The concept of a central UDM Server also reduces the load and responsibility for data updates on each device in the communication system. The producers of data don’t have to worry about the consumers of the data, where they are located, or which combinations of automotive buses are used for transport.
